Walking Holidays in the West of Ireland

Update June 13, 2020 : With COVID restrictions being gradually lifted by government, I plan to recommence events on Saturday July 25th. The manner in which these events will operate will depend on the evolution of current guidelines, for example social distancing (currently 2m) and the size of a group permitted (currently 6). Note that domestic travel restrictions are lifted from June 29th.

Welcome to my guided walking tours in wonderful, wild, rugged Mayo and Connemara, here in the West of Ireland.

Ours is a magnificent and inspiring land on the western coast of Ireland. A wonderful area for hiking, this part of Ireland offers spectacular coastlines, great cliff-top trails, expansive blanket bogs, fabulous beaches and blissful offshore islands.

Discover our history, legends and vibrant culture, while getting out and about in the fresh air on a day hike or extended walking holiday.

In addition, I bring one annual group each to France (May) and Spain (September), for lovely gentle walking weeks, full of culture, nature, food and wine. Walking at a relaxed pace, these weeks will recharge your batteries, while getting out and about for great exercise.

I also lead a birdwatching group to stunning National Parks of Poland for a week in May, where we experience an extraordinary array of birds, plus European Bison and more.

Please note that I do not lead groups on mountain hikes.
